AVIAID DRY SUMP SYSTEMS FOR CHEVY LS1/7 APPLICATIONS
Aviaid has expanded its offerings of dry sump lubrication systems for the GM LS-series engine to include those for stock Corvette and GM F-body chassis, as well as purpose-built racing chassis.
The nucleus of each system is an Aviaid dry sump pump, which incorporates a combination of pressure and scavenge sections to effectively evacuate oil and minimize pan pressure for the given application. For most requirements 3, 4 and 5-stage pumps are used. The C5/C6 wet/dry conversion uses a 2-stage scavenge pump.
A cast aluminum oil pan is included in each system, as is an oil reservoir tank and pump drive, mounting brackets, plus all necessary lines and fittings. A special drive and ATI Super Damper are also included in the LS1/6 system.
Aviaid’s Z06-style system features an LS2 cast aluminum pan with two pickups and a transfer tube, a tank, a remote filter adapter and filter mount, hoses and fittings, sump tank vent, heater and sight tube assembly.
