S-BENDS from Hedman

Installing aftermarket hedders on your vehicle can give you the best performance improvement for your dollar. Although getting that set of hedders to bolt onto the block in the engine compartment can sometimes be compared to getting a size 9 shoe onto a size 10 foot, coupling those hedders to the rest of the exhaust system can sometimes be even tougher. To make this task easier, Hedman Hedders manufactures universal use S-Bend exhaust extensions to take some of the "wheel spin" out of the project.

Once hedders are installed on your engine and their collectors are in the final location, a crossmember, transfer case or transmission housing can sometimes interfere with the proper coupling of your aftermarket hedders to the rest of the exhaust system. Additionally, if you are using a custom built or aftermarket exhaust system, the distance or height between hookups may differ from the stock set-up, and not line up with your hedder's collectors. This is where Hedman's S-Bends are worth their weight in gold.

Once loosely fastened to the hedder collectors, the s-bends can be rotated to clear any obstacle previously in the way. If distance between hook-ups is your "hang-up", Hedman's s-bends each have an offset of 4-1/2" to 7-1/2" (depending on the diameter). That can give you up to 15" of additional distance between connections on a dual exhaust system.

As is the case with all Hedman exhaust products, these S-bend extensions have clean mandrel bends to ensure optimum exhaust flow, for optimum performance gains. Since Hedman S-bends are available in traditional 3-bolt flange, Ball & Socket style, or universal "Unifit" flange designs, everyone can benefit from these useful extensions, whether you are running Hedman's or not.

Hedman S-bends are available in a variety of configurations from 2" to 3" diameter, and are even available with O2 Sensor Bungs or without them. All S-bend kits are built in the USA from 18g mild steel, sold in pairs and available for factory website direct ordering.

NEW CORVETTE C6 CAT-BACK STAINLESS STEEL SYSTEM FROM DYNOMAX
