TALK ABOUT A COOL SHOW!

The Carolina Camaro Assoc Raises Money for Kids

This truck shows it definitely didn’t just come off the farm.

Car shows are just about everywhere these days and so are the reasons for having them. But when you get a great location AND a great cause, well, you’ve got one “Cool” show where everyone has a great time. That’s exactly what happened at the 4th Annual Christmas Cruise for Kids.

Here’s a Snorkle scoop that’s almost as big as the S-10 it’s sitting on.

A classic small-block in black, chrome and brass is always stunning.

The Carolina Camaro Association holds a fall cruise to raise money for Shriner’s Hospital Kids, one of their favorite causes. The show collected toys as entry fees and otherwise raised money for the Shriner’s Hospital for kids so they could have a better Christmas. But what sets this show apart from other goodwill shows is the location. Imagine driving your Chevy onto the grounds of the Hendrick Motorsports complex in Concord, North Carolina, the home of the 2006 NASCAR Nextel Cup Champion, Jimmy Johnson. How cool is that? If that’s not enough, Hendrick Motorsports is also the home of Jeff Gordon, another NASCAR Champ. Hendricks is located literally within earshot of Lowes Motor Speedway just outside of Charlotte and as they say down there, ‘you just can’t get no deeper in stock car country.’ And yes, every now and then, we could hear them running a Chevy motor on the dyno. Probably testing the Daytona restrictor plate ones, we guess.

Here's What's New!
