Second round saw Walsh run 6.50/222.55 to defeat Wesley Jones at 7.05/153.68. Jones was inserted back into the program, because SCS has a break rule which inserts the low ET loser back in if a racer reports broke, or if there is an odd number of cars. Roger Gustin says that the fans pay to see side-by-side racing, I hate to see bye runs.

Dan Bandish then shut Crump down with a 6.41/224.55 as Crump slid around to a 10.93. The final saw Walsh get off the line first and was ahead until he slowed and Bandish streaked to a 6.39/224.60 for the win.
