This year Chevys once again dominated the action and the winnerís circle at the event, winning seven of the nine classes. The Bow Tie Brigade was led by turbocharging wizard Mike Moran and his 1999 Monte Carlo. Moran not only recorded an otherworldly 6.17 ET in qualifying but also had Top Speed of the meet with a 241.93 blast in eliminations and won the cash. Low ET of the meet also went to the Chevy guys with We thought you might Moran's Monte was almost too fast for photographer Tim Marshall to get in focus. |

Jim Caruso's nifty '64 Nova ran consistent mid-nines on his way to beating Joe Bennet and his '73 Vega in the finals of the Double Index eliminator (Don't ask us what a double index is, no one here can figure it out.)
