Bowtie Brigade Rocks at Rockingham
The Bowtie Brigade was well represented at the IHRA national event at Rockingham (NC) Dragway on April 20-22, getting the wins in both the Alcohol Funny Car and Pro Stock classes.
ALCOHOL FUNNY CAR
In an all-Monte Carlo final, defending Alcohol Funny Car champion Mark Thomas, from Louisville, Ohio, got by No. 1 qualifier Terry Munroe, from Beaver, Pennsylvania. Thomas ran a 5.798/246.39 to defeat Munroe’s 5.852/239.06. Munroe has a seven-point lead over Thomas in the Alcohol Funny Car points.
