When you think of promoters in the southeast, few have been at it as long as Classy Creations’ Herb and Sandy Thacker, and when they say this is the 20th edition of the
Camaro, Chevelle & Nova Nationals, few would dispute that assertion. Held at the Music Road Hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN, this year and the results are the same: Lots of great Chevys to see.

Although MaxChevy.com readers most likely aren’t to blame, it is a shame when promoters go through all that they do to put on great shows like this and a few car owners take advantage of the situation. Drawing as many enthusiasts and spectators as they do, some

individuals use the events to sell their vehicles without being in the show. With many hotels and motels in the area and parking lots for the businesses, during any of Classy Creations’ events the streets of the three adjoining cities of Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg are lined with cars for sale. While no one condones this activity, the cities are reluctant to curb it since it does draw more people to the area. Hopefully the situation will be addressed, and sellers encouraged to put their cars in the show where they belong, instead of hawking them on the street.
