Hot Rod Reunion – OHIO STYLE!
The fifth annual Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion (HRR) presented by SoffSeal moved to Ohio’s National Trail Raceway to provide a bigger facility for the popular event. It worked. Over 900 cars packed the Show ‘N’ Shine and more than 450 of them came to race.
The HRR is part of the NHRA museum’s Hot Rod Heritage Series that offers a swap meet, vendor alley, and a traditional Saturday afternoon bar-be-que free to participants. Racers honored this year were Jeg Coughlin, John Abbott, Don Cain, Ted Harbit, Fred Hurst, and the team of Gary Rupp and Pat Dakin. The Justice Bros. Reunion Spotlight honored Frank Hawley. Check out the Chivvies we saw.

There was no shortage of Tri-5 gassers at the Hot Rod Reunion.

We’re guessing that this D/Gas ’57 has had some serious sheetmetal work performed on it, like the entire body?
