No mind. Bill was up for the task, as he is an original Chevrolet engineer with countless hours of time and development in such endeavors. Having already completed restorations of a Harry Gant Skoal Bandit and the original “Pass in the Grass” Dale Earnhardt Monte Carlo (yes, the real deal), the Laguna, regardless of its condition, appeared simple fodder for the former racer and all-around Chevy fan.

Each body sticker is true to the original style used on the car throughout 1974. It took a great deal of time to find just the right stickers and recreate the Coca Cola paint scheme to perfection.

The final product you see here is the result of several years of hard effort to recreate the car just as Bobby Allison drove and Junior Johnson campaigned that fateful year. True, right down to the Holman & Moody window netting (yep that’s the real deal too), the Chevelle is race-ready and has been to a number of car shows and racetracks around the country. Best of all, it’s sure to draw a crowd wherever it goes even if that original 427 never gets fired up.

But don’t kid yourself, that’s the think Bill likes to do the most. Have a Coca Cola Laguna  . . . .and make someone smile.
