The words “crunch time,” are certainly applicable to the months, the weeks, the days, and in some cases, the dwindling moments prior to the opening of the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s annual “SEMA Show” held the first week in November at the spacious Las Vegas Convention Center as manufacturer’s and exhibitors world-wide frantically ready themselves for “the Big One!”

Somebody once came up with the brilliant observation that the square footage of the SEMA Show covers more than 60 miles of aisles, a staggering enough distance to comprehend on paper much less physically attempt to negotiate on foot.

The lower level of the South Hall also featured this three-car American Muscle car display featuring a ‘70 Hemi-Cuda, a ‘69 Boss 429 Mustang, and a ‘70 SS 454 Chevelle,  all complete with display engines.
