  • Chevrolet dominates Lowe's Motor Speedway  (LMS) in NASCAR Nextel Cup Series (NNCS) competition with 34 victories in 97 points-paying races held to-date, more than any other manufacturer


  • Casey Mears, No. 25 National Guard/GMAC Monte Carlo SS, scored his career-first NNCS victory in the Coca Cola 600, May 2007
  • Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe's Monte Carlo SS, leads all active drivers with five victories at LMS
    Jeff Gordon, No. 24 DuPont Monte Carlo SS, has four victories at LMS including his career-first NNCS victory in May, 1994
    Mark Martin, No. 01 U.S. Army Monte Carlo SS, also has four previous LMS wins
    Jeff Burton, No. 31 AT&T Monte Carlo SS has two wins at LMS
    Tony Stewart, No. 20 Home Depot Monte Carlo SS, has one win at LMS
