A reproduction glass windshield replaces the cat-scratched original. Plastic windshields were common on vintage match racers but are too delicate for daily driving. We also plugged in a reproduction glass backlight.

We eliminated the quarter vent windows in the doors and used these plexi-glass replacements. The stock window frames were re-chromed for re-use.

Belt-style lift straps replace the stock window regulators and the door windows ride up and down in fabricated channels. Though a bit delicate, it works fine. If we had it to do over, we would have used full-frame doors from a Chevy II pillar coupe. They look like a direct fit for the Nova hardtop body and the fixed window frames would offer better support to the side glass.
